OVERVIEW

eServices is an energy management company, specializing in natural gas logistics. The Company serves natural gas marketers, utilities, mid-sized and large commercial and industrial firms, and producers in the United States.

OPPORTUNITY

eServices enjoyed double-digit growth for the prior three years and was led by an outstanding management team with decades of experience from Dominion Energy. However, the Company needed to deepen its management bench, secure strategic relationships to expand supply, and diversify its end user base.

OUR APPROACH

APCP believes in the long term opportunities in the energy, power, and infrastructure industries. Partnering with management to recapitalize eServices, APCP worked with industry experts to scout for additional talent and explore strategic relationships. Through these inititatives, APCP expanded eServices’ access to supply, while increasing eServices’ relationships with Fortune 1000 and Federal end users.

RESULTS

Through the combined efforts of APCP and the leadership team:

  • Jun. 2008: eServices wins a 3-year contract from Fortune 500 firm.
  • Jan. 2009: eServices increases its forward book of business five-fold in less than 1 year and achieves 30% growth in revenue.
  • Oct. 2010: eServices finalizes supply JV with Centerpoint Energy Services, dramatically enhancing eServices product and service offerings.
  • eServices projects a dramatic growth versus 2009.
